Chad Powers headlines the comedic offerings this month, promising laughs wrapped in a sports narrative. However, the real curveball comes from McConaughey and Harrelson’s new project, which leans into strange, offbeat humor. Their chemistry alone makes this one worth watching.

In contrast to straightforward sitcoms, these shows experiment with tone and structure. Therefore, audiences seeking something unconventional will find plenty to enjoy. Finally, the comedic slate this September feels refreshingly unpredictable, much like the tonal risks celebrated among the Best Horror Comedy TV Show picks of the year.
